Straight Your Teeth With No Braces

Invisible Braces which are also called Clear Aligners are newest technology in orthodontic dentistry and has evolved from the idea of NO-BRACES. It means your curved teeth will get amended without using metal, lingual brackets, ceramic and wires on teeth.

Clear Aligner expertise helps to straighten your teeth using a series of clear plastic custom-made aligner trays which are customized to fit each jaw. Aligners are made individually with exact calculations to gradually shift your teeth into a proper place and are adjusted on a stage by stage basis that is commonly done in adult’s orthodontic treatment.

Who Is The Perfect Candidate?

Because the invisible aligners are custom-built for a tight fit, they are best for teens & adults. Clear orthodontic aligners are classically used for patients who have moderately crowded teeth, or have minor spacing problems. Patients who have severe crowding, spacing problems, severe underbites, overbites, or crossbites may need complex treatment.

What Are the Advantages?

Invisible braces are not suitable for some misalignment cases or complex bite difficulties. In such cases  conventional orthodontic treatment is favorable, Invisible braces can be used to treat the following orthodontic problems:
  • Overbite
  • Widely or crowded spaced teeth
  • Curved or crooked teeth
Invisible braces are for adults and older teenagers; invisible braces are not suggested when baby teeth remain. Children and teenagers facing orthodontic problems will require conventional metal braces with wires/brackets on the front side of the teeth. However, only your dentist or orthodontist can determine if you are the perfect candidate for invisible braces.

Tooth 'N' Care Dental Clinic provides quality dental treatments with advanced technology in Chennai.

Biomimetic Dentistry - Avoid Unnecessary Root Canal

Biomimetic Dentistry is a tooth preserving dentistry. This procedure treats weak, fractured, decayed teeth to keep them strong and seal from the bacterial infection. Biomimetic is a minimally invasive procedure and uses modern techniques to seal and preserve the teeth, rules out the necessity of cutting the teeth from the crowns and destructive root canals. It is considered to be a healthier alternative to the traditional dentistry.

The filling is the final restoration whether it is a small or medium part of damaged tooth structure with the Biomimetic approach. Restoration is carefully done to increase the adhesive bond to the tooth which prevents excessive shrinkage, gaps. The advanced adhesive methods separate Biomimetic Dentistry from the traditional approach to dentistry.
Traditional dentistry treats the damaged tooth with the crown for restoration. The crowns were used to restore the strength to the structurally compromised teeth. However, crowns reduce 70% originality of the tooth structure. Most of the structurally compromised teeth require more reduction of healthier tooth structure to fit the crown. This approach leads to various problems. Crown preparation would lead to sensitivity, fractures. There is a lot of difference between the crown and natural tooth. When stress is applied to the crown, it starts damaging the remaining tooth structure.

In Biomimetic dentistry, the only damage and decay are removed; the final restoration is bonded to the healthy natural tooth structure. The final restoration is commonly called as an inlay or onlay restoration. There is no removal of healthy tooth structures to fit the crown and thus Biomimetic Dentistry provides a strong restoration.

Biomimetic dentistry avoids 90% of root canals. Removing excessive healthy tooth structure for placing a crown is inevitable in root canal that results in irritation and sensitivity to the tooth. Biomimetic Dentistry significantly reduces the need for root canal by limiting the healthy tooth structure removal which is the principal to long term success and natural teeth retention.
Tooth 'N' Care Dental Clinic, Chennai offers treatments for all dental problems and they indulged in new Biomimetic Dentistry to restore the natural tooth structure.

From now on wards smile even more beautifully

A dental crown is an artificial cap that imitates tooth in its shape, size, and color. Those people who lose their tooth partially or completely can opt for the crown to regain the shape, size and appearance of the tooth.
As the name suggests All Ceramic Dental Crown is entirely made of a glass-like material which resembles our natural teeth. The crowns which are made using computer technologies like CAD or CAM lasts for several years without causing any difficulty to the patient. Its two major types are Zirconia and E-max.
Why is all-ceramic crown better than PFM crown ?
PFM or Porcelain- fused to metal is a  type of dental crown which is made by constructing a metal case and filling it with ceramic to provide the shape of the tooth. Compared to all ceramic  crowns, PFM  has the following disadvantages:
  • Colour of metal case does not resemble natural teeth
  • Need removal of 1.5 mm of buccal tooth to fix metal layers
  • Less durable than all-ceramic crowns
  • Porcelain has the chances of falling off
  • High cost of metal crowns
  • Increased chances of gum inflammation

All ceramic crown is fixing procedure ?
First of all the doctor will clean and purify the teeth. Then impression will be taken using a cement-like material called dental putty and despatched to the laboratory to make crown which is suitable for the patient's mouth. A temporary crown will be fixed until the original is made. After  two to three weeks original crown will be fixed. Dentist reexamines the crown twice to assure its quality. If the patient is satisfied with the crown, a doctor will finish it with dental cement. The patient  should avoid things like  applying too much pressure, consuming too hot or cold eatables few days post fixing to avoid early damage.
Tooth N’ Care Dental Clinic offers best All Ceramic Dental Crown Procedure in Chennai. The hospital updates itself with the latest technology to provide best treatments to patients.
